The growing role of co-packing - with Ton Knipscheer

Packaging Europe Season 6 Episode 26

Ton Knipscheer of the European Co-Packers Association talks to Tim Sykes about the reasons why contract manufacturing is more and more central to the strategies of not just retailer's private label products, but also to delivering the innovation to brands. We also discuss the need for dialogue between the co-packing sector and the wider packaging-FMCG world, particularly in order to ensure alignment around sustainability objectives that contract packers will have an increasing role in delivering.
The 2024 ECPA Conference (11th November) and Sustainable Packaging Summit  (12-13 November) will be co-located in Amsterdam on consecutive days, with the aim of supporting this cross-pollination.
